FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DO I BECOME A PATIENT AT SEVEN MEDICAL AESTHETICS?
Becoming a patient is simple. You can book a consultation with us online or by calling our office. During your consultation, we will assess your skin concerns and aesthetic goals, create a personalized treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY FIRST CONSULTATION?
During your initial consultation, we’ll take the time to understand your unique needs and concerns. We’ll review your medical history and discuss treatment options that align with your aesthetic goals. This is the perfect time to ask questions and explore the services that would be best suited to help you achieve your desired results.
WHAT TREATMENTS DO YOU OFFER?
We offer a wide range of advanced aesthetic services, including injectables (such as neurotoxin and dermal fillers), PRP treatments, medical-grade skincare, IV Therapy, microneedling, peptides, and more. Each service is tailored to help you look and feel your best with natural, refreshed results.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOTOX AND DYSPORT?
Both Botox and Dysport are neurotoxins that relax targeted muscles to soften wrinkles, but they differ slightly in formulation, dosing units, and how quickly they take effect. During your consultation, we’ll recommend the option that best fits your goals. For a deeper technical breakdown, visit our Botox and Dysport education guide.
HOW LONG DO DERMAL FILLERS LAST?
Most hyaluronic acid fillers last 9 to 12 months or longer depending on the area treated, product used, and your individual metabolism, while collagen stimulators like Sculptra can last up to two years. Learn more about timelines and maintenance in our dermal filler guide.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NEUROTOXIN AND DERMAL FILLER?
Neurotoxins like Botox and Dysport relax muscle movement to soften expression lines, while dermal fillers add volume and structure to areas that have thinned or hollowed. Many patients benefit from a combination of both. Explore our full injectable treatments guide to see which approach fits your goals.
HOW DOES PRP THERAPY WORK?
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is derived from a small sample of your own blood, processed to concentrate the platelets and growth factors that stimulate collagen production and tissue repair. It’s commonly used for under-eye rejuvenation and hair restoration. Read more in our PRP treatment guide.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SEMAGLUTIDE AND TIRZEPATIDE?
Both are GLP-1 medications used for medically supervised weight loss, but tirzepatide also targets a second receptor (GIP) that may enhance appetite suppression and metabolic benefits for some patients. Our providers will help determine which option fits your health profile. For a full explanation, visit our GLP-1 education guide.
ARE THE TREATMENTS SAFE?
All our treatments are performed by licensed and certified professionals with extensive experience in aesthetic medicine. We use FDA-approved products and cutting-edge techniques to ensure your safety and satisfaction.
WHAT IS THE RECOVERY TIME AFTER TREATMENTS?
Recovery time varies depending on the treatment. Many of our non-invasive services, such as injectables, require minimal downtime, while more intensive procedures may involve some recovery time. We will provide detailed after-care instructions tailored to your specific treatment.
HOW DOES SEVEN MAKE MY EXPERIENCE COMFORTABLE?
We offer topical numbing cream and ice, as well as distraction techniques that our injectors provide.
DO YOU OFFER MEDICAL-GRADE SKINCARE PRODUCTS?
We’ve curated a collection of medical-grade skincare products that are simple, clean, and highly effective. These products work in synergy with our treatments to help improve skin health and reveal a radiant, glowing complexion.
WHAT CAN I DO TO PREPARE FOR MY TREATMENT?
Depending on the treatment, we may ask you to avoid certain medications and supplements (such as blood thinners) for two weeks prior to your appointment. During your consultation, we’ll provide personalized instructions on how to best prepare for your specific treatment. Our Education Center also has treatment-specific preparation guidelines you can review beforehand.
WILL THERE BE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
Most patients experience minimal side effects, such as mild bruising or swelling, especially with injectable treatments. We will guide you on how to manage any potential side effects and offer tips to ensure a smooth recovery. You can also find aftercare and recovery timelines for specific treatments in our Education Center.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I SCHEDULE TREATMENTS BEFORE AN EVENT?
For optimal results, we recommend scheduling treatments at least two weeks prior to any special event to allow time for any potential swelling or bruising to subside.
WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?
We accept all major credit cards as well as FSA.
